How it Works: Scarlet repos use a strict JSON format. If you are a developer, you can create a sources.json file containing:
- App Name & Bundle ID
- Version Number
- Download URL (Direct Link)
- Icon URL

How to Install Scarlet iOS (Step-by-Step Guide)
Step 1: Click the Button Scroll up and tap the “Direct Install” card.
- A popup will say “Open in iTunes?”. Tap Open.
- Then tap Install. The app icon will appear on your home screen.
Step 2: Trust the Developer If you see “Untrusted Enterprise Developer”:
- Open Settings > General.
- Tap VPN & Device Management.
- Tap the Enterprise App profile.
- Tap Trust.
Step 3: Enable Developer Mode (iOS 16+) If the app won’t open:
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
- Turn on Developer Mode (at the bottom).
- Restart your phone.
Computer Install (No Revokes)
Use this if the Direct Install is revoked.
- Download the Scarlet IPA file.
- Connect your iPhone to your PC/Mac.
- Use Sideloadly or AltStore to sign the IPA with your own Apple ID.
- This method requires you to “Refresh” the app every 7 days, but it rarely gets revoked by Apple.
TrollStore (Permanent)
Only for devices on iOS 14.0 – 15.4.1
- Download the Scarlet TrollStore IPA.
- Open it in the TrollStore app.
- Tap Install. This version will NEVER expire or get revoked.
Troubleshooting & Safety
Error: “Unable to Verify App”
- Reason: Apple has revoked the certificate.
- Fix: Wait 24-48 hours for us to update the certificate, or use the “Computer Method” (Method 2) above.
Error: “Untrusted Enterprise Developer”
- Reason: You haven’t trusted the profile in Settings.
- Fix: Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and Trust the profile.
Error: “An Internet Connection is Required to Verify”
- Reason: You might be blacklisted by Apple (a “Device Ban”).
- Fix: Use the DNS Cloak Method (see above) or wait for a new certificate.
